2023 started with exams, for me. It’s almost the end of January now and I haven’t done anything productive or learnt anything new except, studying for exams the whole time.
( Productivity for me is trying anything & everything outside of my college *degree* specific domains ).
One realisation that I’ve had over the course of my *college education* is that the subjects I’m currently studying for my exams may or may not help me with my career but the work that I'm putting in to understand the concepts I hate definitely increases my tolerance to face more of it which I guess, is cool, isn’t it?
Also, my exams got postponed this week, twice. SPPU (Pune University) is doing everything in their power to ruin the mental health of their students by changing exam schedules at short notice.
Engineering may or may not teach the core *subject* aspect of it. But, those who’ve been through this process automatically become more tolerant to uncertainty, become more strategic while making decisions and definitely develop a “get more done in less time” mindset which definitely helps, I think.
Also, I tend to procrastinate more now. You probably might’ve guessed why.
BEST Tweet I came across this Week!
The tweet is by Sahil Bloom.
That’s it for now!
bye.
