I am learning to use time to its best potential and my best interest, however, it doesn’t always turn out the way I want. I get frustrated about this.
After 10th, I opted for Science, which seemed fun at the time. Cherry on top, I started preparing for JEE. This was fun until Mid 11th class, lockdown was imposed, I started to lose interest in what I was studying. But still had to study just so I score good in JEE and CET which would help me secure seat in a Good Engineering College. That did not happen.
Fast Forward Today…. (Disclaimer: Opinion may seem biased, because it is)
Now that I am admitted to an Enggineering college, I’ve got to attend lectures from 10 am to 4pm (online), where attendance seems more important than study for some reason. I feel burned out by the end of it. (Burnout happens when one spends disproportionate amount of time on any given task). If that task doesn’t interest you then you are in a hole.
Today (at the time of writing this) when I reflect back, I realise that I shouldn’t have chosen science in the first place. A small frustrating mistake, but it doesn’t matter anyways coz who cares.
I currently have no clue where this Engineering is going to take me. I am totally blank at this point.
Life is Short. Life is a Race. You are as good as your last performance.
bye

lets normalize being confused! we are not even sure ham kal kya karenge so thinking about the future and demanding clarity would be a wrong thing to do! take one day at a time... try keeping small goals and i bet you'll find a day when you will realize that its much better today !!
Take it easy man. Things will unfold with time :))
